It sounded too good to be true. A 17 year old girl and her boy-friend entered the Brooklyn office on Wednesday. The girl was crying profusely beyond consolation. She was considering abortion as her only option. I later succeeded in getting her agree to have her baby, but the most important part of her story is that the young man who came in with her stood by her, though he was not responsible for her pregnancy. When I asked him what he would do if he's in her shoes, he said he would keep the baby. So he told her that he will be there for her. The sonogram showed she was in her sixth month. The father of her baby left her four months ago before she met the current one just last two months through the internet. It might interest you to know that the current boy-friend, though he just met her a few weeks ago, promised me that he will take care of her and her baby as husband and father respectively. This guy is one in a million! Who could ever think that a man would take the responsibility of another. He was sent by God, and the girl is blessed to have him. We pray that God would bless him and provide all they need to take care of that baby.
