Today was my first day counceling outside Dr. Emily's abortion clinic. Overall it was a very successful day. Eight girls who were scheduled or planning to get an abortion that day came into our mobile sonogram van and decided to keep their child. God blessed with by helping me take part in getting one girl to get a sonogram. However, what I've discovered from counseling in the centers and outside the clinic, many girls going in for abortions already have a kid or two, even though the girl may only be 19. You may think someone who already has a kid is more inclined to have another one, but sadly many feel trapped with their financial situation. Of course every human life, including the mother's, is priceless, and we strive to convey that message to every women in the centers and as quickly as we can before they walk into the abortion clinics. Siblings are priceless.
