The only thing needed for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing.
This quote to me should be the thinking of the entire pro-life movement. Every prayer outside the abortion clinic is making a difference. Each debate you get into at school. Every sign you hold up at a rally is helping.
The pro-life movement has been active since even before the 1973 court case that legalized abortion on demand everywhere in the country. Can you imagine where we would be today without the courageous leadership in our movement?
Reflecting back to the civil rights movement a few names come to mind; Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr. and several others were so very important in changing the history of our great nation. Today I am so proud to say that I am working along with the people whose names my grandchildren will read in the history books.
I am confident not only that abortion will be made illegal, but that the same people I am meeting here on this trip will be forever remembered for their courage. They are the ones who are willing to put themselves on the line so that evil will never triumph. They are the ones who have dedicated their entire lives to ending the atrocity that is abortion.
They are the ones who will be remembered when people think back to the pro-life movement.
They are the ones who WILL end legal abortion in our country!
