The
hypocrisy of the abortion industry is surprising sometimes even when I know to
expect it. I was praying and sidewalk
counseling outside of a Planned Parenthood in Washington, D.C. where an elderly
man and woman were standing outside of the building in their orange vests
supposedly “protecting” the clients arriving.
Has anyone even stopped to think about this? I mean, if I was seriously worried about the
safety of my customers, would I really be sending elderly men and women to “guard” them? Seriously?
Where are the strapping young men? Oh that’s right—all the young people
proactive enough to do anything are on our
side!
It would be comical, except for the added and much graver hypocrisy: protect the women from what? From information regarding the risks of abortion? From knowledge of the reality of her baby’s development? From loving people who will provide her with free resources to help her keep her baby if she wants? From anything that might cause her to avoid the death of a precious child and the pain and regret (physical and emotional) of lost motherhood? Is this what they call protection?
