FACE THE TRUTH

Last Thursday and Friday, Mikel and I went to Face the Truth. Face the Truth is a prolife tour across the state of Maryland.

People who participated in this tour were from different ages and religions (most of them were Catholic), they came from different parts of the state to share the true face of abortion. We were in different roads of Maryland with big pictures and photos of abortions, and we showed these pictures to all the vehicles which crossed the roads going to work.

Our timetable was really hard: We got up at 6.15 a.m. because we met all the people who participated in the tour at 7.30 a.m.; we were around one hour and a half on the road with the big pictures and photos. Then at 9.00 a.m. the bus took us to 9.30 a.m. mass because the next stop was at 10.30 a.m. in a different road near Baltimore. At 12.00 p.m. we had lunch with all the participants which numbered around fifty. After lunch we heard a speech by an important prolife leader. During the afternoon we had one more stop, and we finished the day having dinner with all the people. Thursday we had dinner in the house of a congressman of the United States.

The tour lasted one week, but Mikel and I could stay only 2 days. The experience was very interesting because we got to know young people who do the same work as we do.
