ONE MORE THING

Everytime that I go counseling to any of the EMC clinics I learn at least one new thing.

I remember once at the Bronx Clinic, a 34 year-old women came for some counseling, she was pregnant and she had already two abortion and four more kids. She seemed to be the kind of women clever but impulsive, sensible but pragmatic and this new kid looked like he was not in her plans so she was pretty convinced to have the abortion.

But in EMC we showed that their situation was not bad, she had work, and four wonderful children. God had provided the opportunity to have a child once again. As we say the economists, the new kid was an opportunity, not a threat.

Life show us many times that unplanned things are usually the best, why shouldn't be this kid one of those?
