In medical school you learn the value of the life and how to safe one under rare circunstances but you don't really understand what a life is or what it means until you don't have the chance to talk to a pregnant women in a crisis, who is thinking in having an abortion and who watches the most beautiful gift anyone can have as a condemn.
Two years ago I came to NY EMC and it was the best experience I ever had, helping the mothers and their husbands and sons. When you know that a mother wants to keep her baby is the best feeling to feel, something that everyone should have. Now I'm back to help EMC again because it really worth it.
