This takes place at the Brooklyn office, I am amazed by this story, I think you will be too.
She (let's call her Ana) is a 24 year old woman, very pretty. She is also really nice, mature, full of strength and because of that after watching some videos and receiving the information about what abortion really is, and how abortion clinics fool the women that go inside them she decides not to abort.
But obviously her story has a dark side too, otherwise we the volunteers and the people that work in the offices wouldn't be there. Her boyfriend didn't want her to keep the baby, THEIR baby; he was scared. He was really worried about what his mom would say about having her 22 year old succesful son being a father, that would ruin his life forever; wouldn't it?
But guess what? God knows more, and God had other plans for them. I told Ana to come back to the office the following week with her boyfriend, let's call him Mike, and let me talk to him. "He needs to be here and see all that I have seen today, he needs to be aware, he needs to listen to you, he needs to see his son in the ultrasound machine". No one, I repeat, no one, could ever see his son or daughter alive and want his or her death, that's insane and unnatural.
Well, this is what happened, Mike came today with Ana, after being informed about the risks of the abortion procedure they both entered in the sonogram room and a miracle took place there. He started crying when he saw his kid on the screen, it was breath taking. Then he started to worry about his mom and what she would say,she said that he would have to leave home and find a job or break up with her; he was concerned but didn't want to change his mind, not when his daughter or son life is involved.
She is starting prenatal next week, they are both scared, especially him; but he is a good guy, I looked him in his eyes, I really hope they work their problems out. If not, at least one thing is sure, that baby is safe and will be born.
