Saturday 9.30 AM, Milam Park, Downtown San Antonio
Some guys arrive wearing blue and start to set up their sound system. Little by little, many more arrive and sit down peacefully.
Many families are gathered to join a prayer rally to celebrate life, marriage, family and freedom. These last days there have been many attacks to th eirtraditional institutions and values, threatening their religious liberties and their rights to defend what they believe in.
Signs and stickers are spread around the park as some oppositors begin to arrive.
They start singing hymns and praying the rosary. Everyone walking by stops and stares at them, not rally understanding what's going on. Some of the pro-lifers start talking and giving testimonies.
It's been a short act, but that doesn't mean it's less meaningful. It has shown the population in San Antonio that we are still fighting, that we will not plead and hide. It's been a good day.
