AN UNUSUAL DAY

A couple of days ago I went to do a delivery in the Bronx, with two more interns, and we had a very funny time. We were already in the corridor looking for the right door, with our hands full of boxes and bags with clothes, prams, diapers, baby bottles etc.. Everything was double because it was for a mother who was expecting twins. We realized that we where only missing a white bear and the red costume to look like Santa Claus. And well, we where some months late... At least it was 24 July!

A man opened the door and when he saw us so loaded he was amazed and couldn't stop repeating: this is big, man! This is big!

He was so happy and grateful that all the sweating and efforts we had made to arrive there became meaningless.

This was, indeed, one of the most fulfilling moments of doing deliveries.
