A Bronx tale

Before coming to NYC I had a lot of prejudices against The Bronx. I thought it would be the typical rough area, drugs, criminals, etc but after being here for a month I realized that I liked it very much.

The Bronx is not Manhattan but that is precisely what make it so special. When we think about NYC we think about The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, skyscrapers, 5th Ave but we forget that NYC is also Queens, Brooklyn, State Island and why not? also The Bronx.

I'm glad I'm living here because I'm seeing the other side of The City. NYC is not only glamour, flashy lights and fancy limos but also broken families, lonely people and struggling women.

The other day somebody told me that I couldn't be living in The Bronx, that I was too classy, too chic. I smiled and said: really? Do you know what? Not only do I live in Bronx, but Im doing a Prolife internship there, I live in a hispanic neighbourhood and I absolutely love my life. I wouldn't change a thing about it, not even for an attic of the Upper East Side.
