Steet Outreach in the Bronx

Excitingly, we moved to a different location with our street outreach program. Equipped with a TV showing educational titles like National Geographic's, "In the Womb," hundreds of brochures and pamphlets with pro-life information, and detailed fetal development models, we go to some of the busiest streets in the Bronx.

On the heels of a recent victory in the courts, I had the privilege of coming across the legislative director for Fernando Cabrera, one of the few allies we had on the New York City Council. It was great being able to speak to him about our victory in the court after we had fought long and hard (and lost) in the NYC council. He was very supportive of our work and it was particuliarly interesting to note that the way he found himself in government and the way I found myself doing pro-life work full time both seemed like an example of the magnificently strange ways of God's will.

Many other very positive stories occurred as well from our mission to tell the people the good news about life and I'm sure I'll be writing about them soon.
