Busiest Two Hours of My Life

It was a really crazy day in the Queens office on Saturday. I was there with Bea, Mery, and Anna, and Rosanna our ultrasound technician. We had seven appointments scheduled between 10 and 1:30, but no one showed up until a little after 12. We counseled eight girls in just two hours. At one point, I came out of the sonogram room to find nine people crowding in our little waiting room. It was overwhelming to say the least, because the Queens Center director was attending the birth of a woman who is giving up her son for adoption, so I was in charge for the day. It was little bit like being pushed into the deep end of a pool. You either sink or swim.
