This week has been a very good week at the 149th st. office. I've been five weeks here working, and now is when I can see how the girls react really after the counseling, and if they are helpful or not.
I've been phoning girls all the week, and the most of them are keeping the baby.
It is surrising how counseling don't end when they leave the offices, how they continue thinking about what we tell him, and how these thoughts turn into turn arounds.
On the other hand, some of them decide not keeping the baby, and when they tell you by phone, you feel like your job has not been good enough, you don't know what to do or say, but it has been done yet, so the only thing you can do is to pray for them.
All these things help you doing the job, I think these girls who keep the baby give you the power to continue working.
