Today was one most precious days I've had throughout this internship. It really is an honour to help these women, however I felt very blessed today with one woman in particular - I was able to witness women find inner strength through Jesus Christ and the Church. I have recently come to find that one of most beautiful things to witness is a woman in need realising that she can actually bring life into world, and that there are places out there that can help her.
The Church can help - they are here for women in need. Life is the most precious thing, it's at the heart of our Christian message. We believe that life begins at the moment of conception, and that this person is unique and is created in the image and likeness of God. The Church is not judgemental. They're here to help both emotionally spiritually. Today I really felt the presence of the Holy Spirit at work, in that she was drawn to our clinics. She could have very easily booked an abortion today at Planned Parenthood, where 'counsellers' receive commission on abortions, however here today she sat speaking to be not only about her baby but our faith. Jesus is well and truly present in the pro-life cause.
