We are not alone!

The other day I was at Jerome Avenue, a place where some of us give information to people about abortion. There are people who stop to talk to you, to ask about what we do and what our personal point of view is. There are also people who thank us for our work, who support us in the cause. It is very gratifying to know there are people that hold common beliefs with you.

Once, a man asked me for information and he told me he agreed with us. In fact, he told me about his experience and one of the things that he told me was that he was impressed by how ignorant the women are who have an abortion.

I would like to thank those people, because their support makes us feel stronger and gives us hope for the future.

What Target are they Aiming for?

This week I have been at an abortion clinic twice. There are, day after day, women going to get an abortion. Sadly, you can see that most of those women are scared without knowing what consequences,
physically and psychologically, they may suffer after the abortion.

On the other hand, there are some pro-choice people at the entrance trying to prevent us from giving women more information about the risks of an abortion and from helping them. Their only aim is to make our job more difficult. I think they work against their own professed titles, because they do not really want women to choose between an abortion or keeping their babies. They only want them to abort in the clinic and get their money. After that, they don't care about the women's needs or worries. I have never seen any of them helping or talking to a woman when they leave the clinic crying. Their job ends when women leave the clinic.

In my opinion they have seen us fighting against abortion and they have decided to be pro-abortion, not pro-choice.

Roots of America have been forgotten

This week I have been in Pennsylvania and Washington D.C enjoying and learning a lot about Independence Day, the Civil War and the Forefathers of America.

It was an amazing trip and I was able to learn the virtues of the Fathers of America, virtues that, in my opinion, have been forgotten. The Forefathers of America fought thinking of America and they sacrificed a lot of things for this nation for being an independent and united country. They were not selfish. George Washington spent more than 20 years away from his family, and each American fought leaving their families behind.

Nowadays, many American people have forgotten those virtues and all of us have become more selfish. Among other things, women may choose abortion instead of keeping their babies, because "there is no reason" for fighting. Abortion clinics just want money without caring about the consequences of an abortion and they are not allowing children to be born. I think that sometimes we are confused about the difference between a right with a selfish choice.

Here we go!

Hi, I am Nacho a new internship from Spain. I study Mechanical Engineering at the University Navarra in San Sebastian, a small city in the north of Spain.

I have heard about this organization by a friend of mine who had been before in New York. When he told me about this way for saving babies I wanted to come. I have been trying to save lives in my country, but not through this kind of way.

I hope to learn a lot from the people who I live with and from the rest of the people that work here helping pregnant women.
