Thanks.

Thank you all for all the good I have received from you.

Thanks to the women who come to the offices to open your heart and I appreciate all your understanding and affection. Thanks to the interns for his work in the service of EMC. Thanks to the people who work throughout the year and enable EMC to continue its work in New York and other states. Many thanks to Chris Slattery, founder of EMC, for his work in society and for enabling annually to interns around the world to have the opportunity to understand what abortion means.

The abortion is a business where profit a few, without importing for them the most minimal the health of the woman. Woman after an abortion always suffers, either psychological or physical damage, but thanks to EMC and other organizations is never alone.

Although this would never be possible without the work of donors, people aware of life importance are committed to the organization. To them my deepest admiration and I will be eternally grateful.

I would like to especially thank a very special group of Cleveland families. Greg, John, Jim, Bill, and other members of the group and families, thank you for your hospitality and for all your patience and smiles.Thank you for make possible our unforgettable stay in Cleveland.

Cleveland.

Following the EMC expansion project we have to offer a grain of sand in Cleveland. What we learned at conferences helps us improve our sidewalk councelling and encourages us to continue.

Many women visit abortion clinics. Many kindly stand with a smile and listen carefully to what you tell them but there are also many who do not want anything from you. Sometimes you can listen things like: Do something better with your time.

So I wonder if I can really do something better with my time? And now I Know it is impossible! These work worth it. Every person deserves to live. Is your life worth?

Whatever happens every day in front of the clinic, the lives saved by our presence and prayers are certainly more than you have reached.

From my deepest admiration I thank all those that reach a firm commitment to life and decide to spend throughout the year hours of their time to stay in front of abortion clinics. A time that surely can´t be better spent. Thank you.

Sidewalk counseling.

The opportunity to attend the national symposium sidewalk counseling held from 25 to July 27, 2013 in Minneapolis, Minn., is something more than a professional enrichment, is also a personal enrichment.

These meetings are attended by leaders of pro-life organizations from different states and there we were as representing EMC and foremost as people with a desire to learn anything that will help us in our later work of helping women.

During these meetings we had the opportunity to address issues such as: spiritual foundations of sidewalk counseling, purpose, focus and essence of sidewalk counseling, basic and advanced sidewalk counseling training, role-playing, legal rights of sidewalk counselors, reaching minorities, dealing with "Mega -Mills ", how to train new sidewalk counselors, among many others.

Thanks to all leaders convey their courage and enthusiasm and thanks to all organizations for their professional work and eagerness to serve you certainly have given us. It encourages us to continue and continue in the future with the same project for our country.

My best hero.

We called hero to a man that for his feat or virtues performs a heroic action. Superman, Spider-rman, Batman, Inspector Gadget, Benji, Power Rangers, among others, are heroes to many of us, our childhood heroes.

We consider them heroes because they fought and won. But to beat first fought. They fought to overcome difficulties. Nobody said being a hero does not involve effort and, if necessary, a tear. Spider-man in a red suit and blue gets beat Venom, one of its most dangerous enemies, having overcome many drawbacks.
However, my best hero I've met in the office of Queens, Richael, a  little woman with sweet smile, who managed to win, despite difficulties, one of which would be its most dangerous enemies, the abortion.

She is my hero, for her courage and her eternal smile. She is my hero, for her ability to learn and love. She Know that their values are above that all things which tried to impose her.
She get to the office accompanied by her boyfriend, as usual was scared. A positive pregnancy test confirmed what both feared. After providing all the information about their options, she decided that the right was to keep her child. She understood that abortion was not the solution to her problem. Her boyfriend, to this change in attitude towards pregnancy, began an intense discussion in the office who decided to hang up on the street.

I wondered what she was. I could not contact her. Her boyfriend had crossed her phone number of my blade. However, it had been a week and it was she, with his eternal smile, which appear for the office again. She wanted a sonogram and a good boyfriend, for which we pray. She deserves it.

Men also feel.

Going to the door of an abortion clinic means much more than stand, go, arise. It means giving to others.
Generosity is the virtue that leads us to give and give to others in a usual manner, strong and determined, for your sake and by providing them with the best of ourselves, both material goods as gifts and talents.

So, we put our best smiles and many prayers and try to provide them all the information and all possible help to facilitate what we know is a difficult decision. For this, we also share a cigarette when the situation requires.

While there, we met a young boy holding a drink in one hand and hugging a cigar that was consumed at high speed. Feel free to share closer to smoke a cigar with him. I could see in his eyes that his heart was broken. His girlfriend was in the clinic for terminating the pregnancy, a life fruit of the union of egg and sperm.

It is only logical and common sense, that the fact of ending the life of one child, intensely affect the husband (or partner) as well as the mother, at last, after all, the unborn corresponds to both, which supposed to have the same rights to life that just germinated.

He disagreed with the decision but it was she who was carrying. It seems therefore that parenthood is increasingly unprotected by the law, medicine and psychology.

The father's role has been characterized by the protection it provides your family, the responsibility of their functions within the same, being the member firm, the main support for his wife and children, in short, for their irreplaceable role within the family. Nevertheless, pro-choice, wanted men decouple everything related to pregnancy and women have created a false autonomy, which promulgates the abortion as a decision only concerns her.

But nothing is further from reality. Several studies show that men suffer and feel immense pain when their partners undergo this procedure. As unfortunately I can check on this nice young man. Among the emotional effects of abortion on men, they are feelings of guilt, remorse, anger, depression and sadness. For both men and women, these perturbations can become traumatized for the rest of their lives.

This situation leads to a series of disturbances that will soon be taking a toll on the relationship. He, already suffering, was aware of this and he do not hesitate to ask for help.

Positive

When the result of the pregnancy test has two lines is positive, ie, you give birth to a child, a sweet smile and this will be something positive in your life. Positive in the sense of good and not everything good is easy. She knew she was going to be difficult this new situation.

She was 21 and she had a dream. She wanted to finish the degree that took her to reach a good place in society, this would allow her to live comfortably and later be able to form a family. However, her dream, her plans are changing. Now when carrying in her womb a child, now one year to finish the degree, without all the money she would like, without the circumstances that she had always longed for.

A good time? Why not? Why should we suppose that there is a better one? Because who knows if it's your last chance to be a mother, who can tell you?

However, regardless of our preferences about when it is, these is the only chance to live to that irreplaceable child in her womb. She knows it so she cries.

Quiet, no one said that the easy way is the best. And betting on life is always win.

Our mothers

Abortion is never easy, it isn´t a decision that a woman should take without thinking, and of course, it is never taken cheerfully. Proof of this is, once again, tears sliding on women sweet cheeks.

They have clear that they want an abortion. However, no one has explained her the process and no one has dedicated a minute of their time to listen to her. Thus, when you take your time and give it away for this task, her faces changes. They see someone they can trust, someone who loves her and that at least, with more or less success, someone who try to understand them.

Understanding is knows the spirit or intent of someone, it is an activity of mothers with their children. They spend their lives trying to understand. We decided not to tell you many things and omit data, thus this activity becomes an arduous task.

However, although for us sometimes is hard to believe, no one will understand us like our mother. That´s what I ask you to have the courage to tell her and them came back to have a conversation. Don´t be afraid.

Happen

Most women are scared when they come into our office. They are scared because they are aware that a positive result on a pregnancy test will change their life forever.

Clearly, the smile of a child will change your life. It is clear that diapers are not changed alone and that sometimes babies cry, day or night. But what happens when you decide to abort? Doesn’t your life change?

If you choose abortion you should not forget that even if something ends does not mean it did not happen. Your life will change, just like your body, which will be subjected to the action of hormones or surgery.

Sometimes come to the office women, who in the past have lived the traumatic experience of an abortion, and they do not want to repeat it. Despite their current pregnancy doesn’t happen in idyllic conditions, who knows when or those idyllic conditions will happen?

Our problems.

Positive or negative? This is the initial question.

A negative, in most of the office cases is a relief on other occasions a disappointment.

A positive meaning for many, “I know don’t what to do”, “my life has changed” etc.. for others however, is a joy, an illusion, although they are aware of the effort they will need to put.

A child is always a smile, a joy, an illusion. The problem? The problem is ours, not her. I know from several stories I have in the office every day, each has what she considers her motives are. These, more than enough to make this decision, but I always wonder the same thing: what fault is he?

She was only 15 years old and she wasn´t raised an abortion, incredible truth?  She knew that life is the only option. It was she who was wrong that night at bedtime with that child who just dance a song, it was her mistake. Just like that, he should live. What else? Our problems.

Smile

Life in the office is undoubtedly the experience that has helped me most in my life. Every day women come in and you learn a lot of aspects that will help you later in your daily life.

Although Queens office is very small, this means, has a small size, it is, although it sounds paradoxical, great. This greatness lies in a task for extraordinary society. Each day helps a lot of ladies, Whatever decision they choose, they find in our walls a place to talk quietly about their worries and concerns. And most importantly, where mourn. I like to tell that here we provide free tissues too. Thus, we laughed.

We laughed, we cried and we understand. What more could we want?

A  little woman walks with her ex boyfriend cheerful glued to a phone. I clarify this, because he did not detachment of the unit in the entire stay, which I found very funny and gave rise to a broad conversation. . She was worried if she could be pregnant, was only 21 years old and wanted an abortion. By providing some information, such as date of your last period, I realized that this girl was completely unaware of the functioning of the female reproductive tract. After a few videos explaining it, human development and abortion procedures, the nice lady thanked us more than 10 times. She insisted that hopefully they explained these things in school, so many girls would care more and not want an abortion. What more can we ask?

Thank you for your sweet smile.

It is obvious?

She wanted an abortion. That was her solution or as she said, her only option. Like many women, she was agreed that the act was morally wrong, supposed to end a life that did not own, but in her case was justified.

Why we try to justify the unjustifiable? In our case it is always right, or not so bad, and when we see the error in the outside we were shocked. We try to convince ourselves.

The nice woman, with two children from a previous marriage, planned to end the life of his son, without consulting the father of it with which has lasted three years together. Her previous failure was terrified and feared that can happen again seemed sufficient reason to terminate her pregnancy. She, probably without realizing but selfishly, thought it suited her and her preferences. She wanted a solid relationship and stability.

What greater stability than to bring together a child to the world? What greater stability in a relationship that come to an agreement about what is best for them through dialogue? This joint decision-making is a process that although can be hard sometimes strengthen the relationship, as it is based on trust.

This at some now seems so obvious, it may be in a time of great stress not as evidence. And a conversation as simple as this, it may help a mother to save her son's life. We must not forget that are God and mothers who save lives and that we are mere instruments in the service of God.

13 years old.

The age range of the women who come to the office every day is very broad. The mean age be placed at around 22 years. But there's always an exception to the rule, and in this case average.

He opened the door. He was the friend of a small little woman. She was camouflaged behind him. She was so scared, in a silence I could hear the gnashing of teeth. She had a delay of six days in the period. She did not know this was normal at a young age, as only 13 years.

My heart was startled. I did not want this for her, the girl with scared face and a nice smile. I did not want that for any child her age. I had always said that we must live with the heart like children. And it is true, with 13 years pass from childhood to adolescence, but please these are closer to childhood than adulthood.

Why this girl and many others of his age were used in these concerns the best time of their lives? They could play tennis, running and other activities. However, she unconsciously decided to give his body and life to anyone.

The first was to try to reassure her. Thank God, the pregnancy test turned negative thought was slowly relaxing.

Then it was my moral duty to explain something as forgotten to explain at school as: ONE AND A FOREVER. I looked into her eyes, she smiled every time while I was speaking her, because she was discovering that the man who really loves her will wait fir her and she had to wait now.

Pro-choice? Sorry, you must be "pro abortion".

Every day thousands of abortions are performed in New York City. The abortion clinics use this fact as a business, as a mean of profit. They call themselves as health centers for women. And I wonder: What will be what they understand by health?

Health is the state in which the organic being normally performs all its functions. The human being endowed with intelligence and will, as it is unlike plants and animals, is born, grows, reproduces and dies. In ground tests to joke I said that nobody ever said anything to study. Now I think that maybe to these people no one told them that we reproduce, and therefore say that they care for women.

Caring for someone is to ensure that he is good and when someone is sad then is not right. Those women who mourn I saw, in the back door of Emily`s, nobody was taking care of them because if it were so would not be so sad.

We are there to offer our support and to give them information that can be helpful. Alongside a group of pro-choice, who are supposed to care of them, is responsible to hinder us so they don´t allowed us to speak with the woman in the street and they break them the information leaflets we provide.

I thought that choice meant election and to chose is necessary the freedom. Pro-choice please I invite you to reflect and I ask you if, as shown these are all yours actions pro-choice, "pro-abortion" must be  the best denomination for you, as this is all they stand for.

I do not understand how these people can sleep at night.

Listen

Listen is defined as paying attention to what you hear. There are a variety of stories, as many as people flock to the offices. Every person is different with their circumstances.

The first world in which I had the opportunity to delve was that of a girl, who like many, came to the office overwhelmed with her possible pregnancy. She wanted, if that were so, finish the pregnancy. This is a fine way of saying abortion. So, according to her wishes, before do the pregnancy test, I showed her a video explaining the procedure. She could not look. I understood her. If you can not watch it because you find something unpleasant, because it is not desirable. However, we all admire and contemplate the beauty of nature, works of art... I could look, I wanted to look into his eyes. They demonstrated that she is a beautiful person, because the eyes allow us to see inside. As it was I could not avoid to look, just as I could not avoid inform of that what could change your life. She deserves better.

We decided to put the video explaining human development after confirming her pregnancy. She was amazed, my baby recognize my voice, has hands, has feet and other things that humans have or do because it is a human being with the same rights as you, among which is the right to life. . Completely unaware that, that lack of information may have led her to make a decision that would change his life.

You are not alone.

It's difficult to express what you feel. As well, are complicated situations of many women attending. It is difficult to understand and very easy to see in her eyes feelings of anxiety, loneliness, worry, suffering and pain.

Our mission? Love and pray for them, mothers and fathers. Because fathers are too scared. They are afraid of not being able to provide the best for their children, without being aware that life is the best gift you could receive from God.

You are not alone. Trust that God will give you all the strength you need. Thanks for all that we can learn with your stories when you open your wonderful hearts

This is New York. Respect for life?

Only been 5 days since landing in New York and I think I could fill a book with thoughts and experiences.

In life, sometimes, there are things we can´t understand. In New York is the National September 11 Memorial park that honors the men, women and children who perished in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 29, 1993. It commemorates the lives lost. Thus, the names of the victims are inscribed in bronze parapets around the pools located in the space of the Twin Towers. In one of them I could read: "The name of a woman and her unborn child”. How nice! Remember us that with that death we lost two different people.
As we read in the brochure, the mission of this park is: may the lives remembered, the deeds recognized, and the spirit reawakened be eternal beacons, which reaffirm respect for life, strengthen our resolve to preserve freedom, and inspire an end the hatred, ignorance, and intolerance.

How right and contrast to what we observed every day. I would like to see as the laws of this country defend these as well as exposes it in the brochure and the actions thereof are directed to this end.

We could forget the faces of anguish for many women who walk-in without knowing what to do. They far from ignorance, would have clear that the most important thing is respect for life. Thus, in the office where I work we would not have to report and we could devote ourselves to provide the help that many need.
