Yesterday, Aisia and I spoke with a 20 year old girl who really wanted to parent her child but thought that she needed to have an abortion because she did not get along with the baby's father. Aisia and I tried to explain to her that her child did not need to suffer because of the father's behavior. She said she understood that but they argued so much and is currently in a dispute right now with him. She said that her child deserves to be raised in a two parent home and she shouldn't deny her child that right. We continued to talk to her some more until it was time for her to have her sonogram.
We went into the room with her to have her sonogram and found out that she was 11 weeks and 3 days along in her pregnancy. With the sonogram machine, we were able to see her child moving around and kicking. She had a very happy baby. Linda then walked into the room and asked the girl if she would like to touch the baby's hand. So the girl asked the baby to hold her hand. At first, the baby wouldn't move then all of a sudden the baby tumbled and reached his hand out to touch his mother. It was absolutely beautiful. It even brought me to tears. The girl had even told us previously that the doctor told her that she couldn't even get pregnant. So the fact that she's pregnant now was a miracle. When I saw the baby tumble. I immediately exclaimed "you have to keep the baby!" She replied "I will." with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.

The ultrasound has what appears to be a last name...maybe you might want to blur that out. Just sayin'!
